University College Cork Doctoral students produce every year huge contributions to their disciplines though their theses, papers, monographs, academic presentations, and lots of other forms of output, which are generally accessible only to those specialists close to their fields, despite their potential importance and interest to a much wider audience. The idea behind this showcase, which is now in its fourth year, is to challenge UCC’s PhD students find innovative ways of presenting their research to a general audience.
